Life Coach Criticizes VeryDarkMan Over Plane Fight With Mr Jollof
Life Coach Slams VeryDarkMan for Mr Jollof Plane Brawl

A prominent life coach has publicly criticized internet personality Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, for his physical confrontation with comedian Freedom Atsepoyi, alias Mr Jollof, aboard an aircraft on Monday, November 17.

Life Coach's Strong Criticism

Olusola Babatunde, a self-acclaimed life coach, expressed his disapproval through social media platform X, stating that VeryDarkMan should have ignored Mr Jollof when he spotted him on the same flight. According to Olusola, the internet personality made a significant error in judgment by confronting the comedian over online disputes while traveling.

The life coach specifically wrote: "VDM messed up tho. You confronted a man on a plane over online dramas? Least he could have done after seeing Mr Jollof on the same plane was ignore him. That's how a nuisance moves. He should do better!"

Mixed Public Reactions

The life coach's comments have sparked diverse reactions across social media platforms, with netizens taking sides in the controversial incident.

One user, @IamMusic63151, commented: "Bruh he always claims to be right. Watch his next tweet or so... I just hope the aviation sector do their job or they'll see more fighting in the air till one werey go vex break window."

Another perspective came from @waleolayemi93, who analyzed: "Looking closely at the video, I think jollof approached first but his first attack didn't look like an aggressive one more like guy wetin dey worry you it looks friendly. Maybe I am wrong sha. Na man them be make them dey fight them get millions for aza. Overhappiness too much."

@KelvinDani11396 offered a balanced view: "The clash between VDM and Jollof on that plane is nothing but a stain on both men. For people who parade themselves as role models, trading punches in public isn't bold it's embarrassing. There were many ways to settle their differences without turning the cabin into a boxing ring."

VeryDarkMan's Version of Events

Meanwhile, VeryDarkMan has provided his account of the incident through a lengthy Instagram post. The internet personality claimed that he approached Mr Jollof to discuss their unresolved issues but was met with immediate violence.

According to VeryDarkMan's statement, the comedian threw the first punch unexpectedly, leaving him no opportunity to de-escalate the situation or walk away from the confrontation. This version contradicts eyewitness accounts and has added another layer of complexity to the ongoing social media debate.

The altercation has become a trending topic across Nigerian social media spaces, with divided opinions about who bears greater responsibility for the physical confrontation that occurred in the confined space of an aircraft cabin.
