Businesswoman Urges Women Affairs Ministry to Aid Regina Daniels
Businesswoman Seeks Help for Regina Daniels

A Nigerian businesswoman has made an emotional public appeal for government intervention in the ongoing marital crisis involving popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels.

Heartbreaking Plea for Help

Linda Chinemerem Paul, the CEO of PDF Hairs and Accessories, expressed deep concern after reading Regina Daniels' recent Instagram post where the actress indicated she would return to her husband's house in exchange for her brother's release from police custody. The businesswoman stated she was particularly disturbed by specific phrases in Regina's statement.

"I'll do whatever he says, get injected to be like a zombie, get locked up in the house and raped," Linda quoted from Regina's social media post, highlighting the severity of the situation.

Growing Public Concern

Linda acknowledged that many Nigerians might not feel emotionally connected to Regina's situation due to her previous behavior and public persona. However, she emphasized that the actress remains very young and represents a typical Gen Z individual who needs protection and guidance.

The businesswoman directly called on the Ministry of Women Affairs and other relevant organizations to step in and provide assistance. "We have ministry of women affairs and so many other organisations that can come to her aid. Please help her," she pleaded in her social media post.

Public Reaction to the Appeal

The businesswoman's emotional post has triggered significant reactions from concerned Nigerians across social media platforms. Many commenters expressed similar worries about Regina's safety and wellbeing.

One commenter, Princess Adaobi Asomba Louis, wrote: "Yes, she really needs help, but people are just blaming her. Who hasn't made mistakes or taken decisions they later regretted? I pray this family gets the help they need. Going back to that house is a death sentence."

Another commenter, Maryy Jane, emphasized the importance of supporting women in abusive situations regardless of their past actions, stating that Regina's courage in speaking out should be encouraged rather than criticized.

The appeal comes amid Regina Daniels' recent emotional breakdown in a video posted online where she admitted struggling mentally and emotionally. This development occurred shortly after she announced the reconciliation of her long-estranged parents, which she had described as a huge relief for her happiness.
