Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North, has publicly revealed that he arranged rehabilitation therapy for his wife, popular Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, due to her dependence on illegal substances.
The Shocking Revelation
In extensive social media posts shared on Saturday, November 8, 2025, the All Progressives Congress chieftain disclosed that he noticed troubling behavioral changes in his wife that prompted the intervention. According to Nwoko, these changes included Regina staying awake for 48 hours continuously and eating every two hours, patterns he linked to substance abuse.
The federal lawmaker shared videos across his X and Facebook platforms, providing what he described as evidence of the challenges he faced while trying to help his wife recover from addiction.
Family Sabotage Allegations
Nwoko launched serious accusations against Regina Daniels' family members, particularly targeting her brother Sammy. He claimed that Sammy repeatedly visited their home aggressively and disrupted household peace, especially when the senator was absent.
The senator revealed that despite his generous support for Regina's family, including sponsoring Sammy through university and providing substantial financial assistance, the family members allegedly worked against Regina's recovery. Nwoko disclosed transferring N125 million to Regina's mother, Rita Daniel, over the past two years alone.
