In less than 24 hours, residents of Ekiti State will head to polling units on Saturday, June 20, 2026, to elect their next governor. Incumbent Governor Biodun Oyebanji of the All Progressives Congress (APC) seeks a second term, facing 13 challengers. The three main contenders are Governor Oyebanji (APC), Dr. Wole Oluyede of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and Dare Bejide of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
