The Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has extended warm congratulations to Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo following his successful re-election as the Governor of Anambra State. The party described the electoral outcome as a powerful mandate for continued people-focused governance.

A Resounding Victory for Transformative Leadership

In a statement personally signed by its former gubernatorial candidate, Adeshina Adewale, the Oyo APGA leadership attributed Soludo's victory to what it called his "bold, visionary, and results-driven reforms." The party highlighted significant progress in key sectors under Soludo's first term.

"Governor Soludo has proven himself a servant leader who listens," Adeshina stated. "Roads are being rebuilt, schools are thriving, and farmers are harvesting hope. Anambra's residents have rewarded this vision with their trust." He emphasized that the re-election signifies continuity in good governance and reinforces confidence in APGA's core philosophy of grassroots development and inclusivity.

Landslide Election Results and INEC Declaration

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officially declared Professor Soludo the winner of the Saturday, November 10, 2025, governorship election. The APGA candidate secured a stunning victory across all 21 local government areas of the state.

The INEC Returning Officer, Prof. Edoba Omoregie (SAN), announced the final results as follows:

  • APGA (Soludo Charles Chukwuma): 422,664 votes
  • APC: 99,445 votes
  • YPP: 37,753 votes
  • LP: 10,576 votes

Other contestants, including the PDP, garnered significantly fewer votes. The election saw a total of 598,229 accredited voters out of 2,788,864 registered voters. A total of 595,298 votes were cast, with 584,054 valid votes and 11,244 rejected.
