The agreement followed high-level discussions where both leaders explored opportunities to expand diplomatic, economic, and development partnerships.
Key Areas of Cooperation
During the meeting, both leaders emphasized the importance of regional cooperation in addressing shared challenges across Africa, including economic growth, trade facilitation, security collaboration, and investment opportunities. President Tinubu highlighted Nigeria's readiness to deepen engagement with Rwanda in areas that could enhance continental integration and support sustainable development goals. He stressed the need for African nations to work more closely in promoting stability and prosperity across the region.
Rwanda's Perspective

He emphasized the importance of practical partnerships that deliver measurable outcomes for citizens of both countries. The discussions also touched on strengthening institutional relationships, with a focus on improving trade relations, encouraging private sector participation, and fostering innovation-driven collaboration.
Continental Integration
