Davido Advocates for Personal Bank Accounts in Relationships

David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, spoke during an appearance on The Uncut Podcast, where he was asked whether women should have secret bank accounts away from their partners. The singer agreed that having personal finances could be beneficial for women in relationships. According to Davido, he thinks it is good and actually thinks they should.

However, the singer quickly made it clear that he does not believe the arrangement should apply only to women. Davido stated that both partners should maintain their own accounts because life can be unpredictable. He said people in relationships should be able to mount their ground, emphasizing that personal financial independence should be available to everyone in a relationship.
