Jigawa Court Delivers Landmark Ruling on Decade-Long Unlawful Detention

In addition to the financial compensation, the judge directed the respondents—comprising the Attorney-General of Jigawa State, the Jigawa State Government, and the Commissioner of Police—to issue a public apology to Sabo. This apology must be broadcast on major radio stations across Jigawa State, ensuring widespread acknowledgment of the injustice suffered.
