Mairiga was a prominent figure within the APC, known for her grassroots mobilization of women and her role in strengthening party structures across Yobe State. Her passing has drawn expressions of grief from party members and supporters, many of whom described her as a dedicated political stalwart.
Funeral Arrangements Announced
Funeral prayers for Mairiga have been scheduled for Sunday, July 26, at 4:00 pm at the Yobe Mosque and Islamic Centre in Damaturu, the state capital.
