The results were presented by the Zamfara collation officer, Mikailu Barau, after local government party chairmen submitted ward results from across the state. Musa commended party members and stakeholders for ensuring a peaceful exercise, noting that the process was monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Speaking at the event, the head of the INEC monitoring team, Lawal Aliyu, urged political parties to comply with electoral laws and commission guidelines. He also encouraged eligible voters to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards ahead of the general elections.
