In a significant development for Bauchi State, the member representing Alkaleri-Kirfi Federal Constituency, Kabiru Yusuf, has revealed the expenditure of approximately N1 billion on empowerment projects aimed at boosting the economic status of his constituents.

The lawmaker, popularly known as Makaman Duguri, made this announcement while addressing a massive gathering of supporters in Bauchi on November 18, 2025. According to Yusuf, the distributed items comprised 20 vehicles, 150 motorcycles, 100 sewing machines, 200 water pump machines, 100 wheelchairs, and N200 million in direct cash disbursements.
