Simultaneously, a new crisis has emerged within the ADC in Lagos State, where local council chairmen have issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the party leadership. They threaten legal action over alleged irregularities in the ongoing congress process, citing unauthorized activities that have disrupted party harmony.
Through a petition filed by their legal representatives, the chairmen accused certain individuals of hijacking the nomination process and undermining grassroots executives. Specific incidents include:
