Pro-Tinubu Group Distributes Food, Details FG Projects in Anambra

In a significant festive season outreach, the South East Renewed Hope Agenda (SERHA) has provided food items to vulnerable families in Anambra State. The initiative, which took place on Sunday, December 28, 2025, aimed to spread Christmas joy and offer relief amid prevailing economic challenges.

Festive Outreach and Message of Solidarity

The National Coordinator of SERHA, Ambassador Belusochukwu Enwere, personally oversaw the distribution. He stated that the gesture was designed to ensure the spirit of Christmas reached homes across communities. Ambassador Enwere emphasized that while food items cannot solve all problems, they serve as a powerful symbol of care, empathy, and responsive leadership from the group and the administration it supports.

He praised Anambra State as a beacon of resilience, enterprise, and strong communal bonds. Enwere also expressed gratitude to residents for their continued support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, clarifying that the outreach is a direct reflection of the Federal Government's Renewed Hope Agenda. This agenda prioritizes welfare, inclusion, and sustainable national development.

Beyond Relief: Showcasing Federal Development Projects

Moving beyond the immediate humanitarian effort, Ambassador Enwere detailed several key federal initiatives currently impacting the South East region. He provided specific figures to underscore the administration's commitment.

In the education sector, he revealed that a substantial N45.6 billion has been disbursed to students from the South East under the federal student loan scheme. This fund is aimed at drastically improving access to higher education and empowering the youth of the region.

On infrastructure, Enwere pointed to the critical recommencement of work on the Eastern Rail Line. This major project is set to connect pivotal commercial hubs like Aba, Onitsha, Enugu, and Nsukka to the national rail network. "The rail project will boost trade, ease the movement of goods and people, and stimulate economic activities across the region," he affirmed.

Furthermore, he highlighted the establishment of two major institutions: the South East Development Commission (SEDC) and a N150 billion South-East Investment Company. These bodies are strategically created to drive industrialization and foster comprehensive regional development.

SERHA's Pledge for Continued Engagement

Concluding his address, Ambassador Enwere assured the people of Anambra and the wider South East of SERHA's unwavering commitment. The group pledged to continue promoting welfare, unity, and sustainable development through consistent community engagement and support for government policies that raise living standards.

He encouraged residents to maintain strong communal ties and keep faith in a brighter collective future. "We remain optimistic that sustained collaboration between government, civic groups, and communities will deliver lasting development across the region," Enwere stated, extending peaceful and joyous Christmas wishes to the people of Anambra, the South East, and Nigeria at large.
