A respected prophet from Anambra State has made a stunning declaration concerning Nigeria's 2027 presidential election, stating that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's victory is already assured in the spiritual realm.
Prophet's Divine Verdict on the 2027 Presidency
Prophet Dr Ramas Okoye Asuzu, the Supreme Head of the Liberation Temple of Absolute God in Nri, Anambra State, has called on presidential aspirants, particularly those from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and other parties, to suspend their ambitions to unseat President Tinubu. The cleric, who spoke with journalists at his residence in the Nri community, Aniocha Local Government Area, on Sunday, January 18, 2026, delivered his message after what he described as a tense consultation with the gods of the land.
Asuzu, a prophet with over 35 years of worship experience, revealed that Tinubu's triumph in the 2027 general election has been conclusively decided spiritually. He further disclosed that the presidential aspirations of the Labour Party's Peter Obi and the current Minister of Works, Senator Dave Umahi, would only be actualised in the year 2031.
"I advise those contesting against him to suspend their ambitions for 2031. My prediction as a prophet is for the good and continued unity and togetherness of Nigeria," Asuzu stated, urging a strategic pause in the political landscape.
South-East Political Heavyweights Rally Behind Tinubu
The prophet's pronouncement comes on the heels of a significant political development in the South-East. During a major All Progressives Congress (APC) Stakeholders' Meeting tagged "Izu Umunna" in Enugu State, key governors from the region threw their weight behind President Tinubu's second-term bid.
The meeting, which saw the attendance of Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State, Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State, and Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State, along with other party stalwarts, resulted in a formal endorsement. The leaders collectively pledged to mobilise bloc votes across the South-East for President Tinubu in the 2027 poll.
They vowed to resist the historical "balkanisation of the South-East's votes" by individual ambitions, arguing that such fragmentation has consistently weakened the region's negotiating power at the federal level.
Prophet Praises Tinubu's Record, Calls for Prayers and Anti-Corruption Drive
Reacting to this political endorsement, Prophet Asuzu expressed his alignment, citing the achievements of the Tinubu administration. He praised the government for fostering a "sense of belonging for Ndigbo at the centre," specifically highlighting the establishment of the South-East Development Commission and other humanitarian benefits for the region.
"Tinubu will be declared the winner of the election, and besides the victory, he has done tremendously well in all sectors of the economy," the prophet asserted.
He called on the Igbo community to support the President with prayers to help him actualise his vision for Nigeria. In a striking recommendation, Prophet Asuzu also appealed directly to President Tinubu to commence his second-term agenda by introducing life imprisonment for corrupt politicians, signalling a strong stance against graft.
This prophecy adds to a growing list of spiritual forecasts ahead of the 2027 elections. Previously, Prophet Abel Tamunominabo Boma had predicted potential defections between the APC and the ADC, outlining shifts in party loyalty between mid-2026 and early 2027.
