Akwa Ibom Governor Eno Pledges More Development, Seeks Second Term
Eno Promises More Development in Akwa Ibom

Governor Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State has assured residents of his commitment to delivering on campaign promises as he formally initiates the process toward a second term in office. The governor gave this assurance on Wednesday while addressing Government House Press after returning from Abuja, where he submitted his nomination form. He described the move as a clear indication of his readiness to do more for the state in the coming years.

Ongoing Projects and Future Plans

Governor Eno noted that although his administration has made significant progress, not all set goals can be fully achieved within one tenure. He disclosed that over 82 audacious projects are still ongoing and at various stages of completion, stressing that his government remains focused on seeing them through. He called on party faithfuls to support his nomination during the primaries, expressing optimism that with their backing, more developmental strides will be recorded.

Call for Support

“I have just submitted the nomination form. We call on members of the party to support our nomination during the primaries, as we will continue to pray and trust God for more development to thrive in the state,” Eno said. He reaffirmed his administration’s resolve to build on existing achievements and ensure that more benefits of governance reach the people if given another mandate.
