The Kaduna State Joint Account Allocation Committee (JAAC) has approved a total of ₦14.56 billion as allocation for the state and its local governments for April 2026. The approval was granted during a meeting chaired by the Deputy Governor, Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe, held at the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
Revenue Distribution Breakdown
During the meeting, committee members deliberated on and adopted the revenue distribution for the month. The approved allocation includes a statutory allocation of ₦8,616,285,612.57, a Value Added Tax (VAT) share of ₦4,510,345,626.70, and ecological funds amounting to ₦1,435,854,979.11.
Total Allocation and Sharing Formula
The total allocation for April 2026 stands at ₦14,562,486,218.38. This amount is expected to be shared in accordance with the established revenue-sharing formula to support governance and development across the state and its local government councils.
The committee's decision underscores the commitment to ensuring timely disbursement of funds for essential services and infrastructure projects at both state and local levels.
