Conor McGregor Calls for Ban on Third-World Immigration After Belfast Attack
McGregor Demands Ban on Third-World Immigration

UFC fighter Conor McGregor has called for Western nations to prohibit immigration from third-world countries, citing recent events in his home country of Ireland. The mixed martial arts champion took to social media platform X to voice his concerns after a night of unrest in Ireland.

Violent Incident in Belfast

A 30-year-old Sudanese man, identified as Hadi Alodid, allegedly attempted to behead a man in the middle of a street in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The incident sparked widespread outrage and led to anti-immigration protests, during which houses, cars, and a bus were set on fire as citizens demanded that immigrants leave the country.

McGregor's Response

Reacting to the chaos, Conor McGregor posted on X, calling for an immediate ban on all immigrants from third-world countries. He wrote: "Ban immigration from the 3rd World now. Help them from where they are. As we have done over the years so many times beautifully, and nobly. They cannot come here any longer."

His post generated a mix of support and criticism from his followers. Earlier, he had also written: "CLOSE THE BORDERS. Enter IPAS centres militarily and remove all illegal entrants from this island. Inviting and financing mentally deranged people from the 3rd world is a hard no. Get them out. Stop them coming. We say no to this."

The UFC star's comments have reignited debates on immigration policies and border security in Ireland and beyond.
