A 16-year-old boy in the Czech Republic has been sentenced after his 12-year-old sister gave birth to his child. The teenager avoided jail time, receiving a three-year suspended sentence for sexually abusing his sibling at their family home in the Karlovy Vary region.
Pregnancy Discovery
The young girl did not know she was pregnant until she experienced severe pain and was rushed to the hospital, where she was informed she was in labor. She gave birth shortly after and then accused her brother of raping her. A paternity test confirmed the teenager was the father.
The abuse began when the boy was 15, with the final rape occurring in late 2024. The victim remained silent and continued attending school. Her family mistook her growing belly for weight gain, and school photos showed her appearing larger than usual.
Sentencing Details
The boy was sentenced on June 12, 2025, at the Pilsen court. He received a three-year suspended sentence, was ordered to undergo sex offender therapy, and must pay the victim over £10,000 in compensation. The baby boy has been placed in foster care.
Authorities noted the family came from a good social background, calling the situation a catastrophe. The community was shocked, and the case became local news.
