The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has initiated an investigation into a suspected culpable homicide following the death of a heavily pregnant woman identified as Alice. The incident occurred on May 31 after a physical altercation with one Grace Kasimu.
Incident Details
According to preliminary findings, Alice developed complications after the fight. She reportedly began bleeding and was rushed to Wuse General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead by medical personnel.
Police Confirmation
Confirming the incident, the command's spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, stated that the suspect has been arrested and is currently in police custody. She added that the investigation is ongoing, and the Commissioner of Police has directed that the case be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further action.
