Details of the Abduction

Gift David Samiya, a native of Obi Local Government Area in Nasarawa State, was kidnapped on Tuesday, April 21, 2026. He was en route from Lafia to the NYSC orientation camp in Maiduguri, Borno State, when the attack took place.

Family Confirms Incident

His brother, Lawrence David, confirmed the kidnapping. He stated that the abductors contacted a family member and demanded a ransom of N10 million for Gift's release.
