According to a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abimbola Adebisi, the suspect, identified as Odeshola Afeez, was taken into custody after reports emerged that he was harassing passers-by and creating panic within the community. Police operatives were immediately deployed to the scene, where they arrested the suspect and conducted a search. A locally made pistol, one live cartridge, and local charms were recovered from his possession.
