A man has shared his harrowing experience after being attacked at a club in Surulere, Lagos, in the early hours of May 25. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. while he was seated at his usual spot, waiting for his friends to finalize sales for the upcoming Salah holiday.
According to his account, he noticed a man walking past who made him feel uneasy. He began observing the man’s movements and soon realized there were two suspects. They allegedly chased and attacked him. The victim shared footage of the incident, showing him falling and struggling to escape as the attack unfolded. In the video, the suspected assailants are seen fleeing after other men reportedly rushed in to rescue him.
Despite the attack, the victim stated that his two phones and a bag containing money from the night’s sales were left untouched. He has since informed the police and appealed to Nigerians for help in identifying the suspects.
