Mother Allegedly Murders Teen Daughter, Claims to Protect Her from Elon Musk
A shocking case has emerged from Beloit, Wisconsin, where a mother is accused of murdering her 14-year-old daughter and citing billionaire Elon Musk as the motive for the horrific crime. According to a probable cause affidavit obtained by People magazine, 41-year-old Tyiece Oninski called the Rock County Sheriff's Office non-emergency line on March 20 and confessed to the murder, which she said occurred the night before.
Disturbing Confession and Details of the Crime
Oninski reportedly told the dispatcher that she stabbed her daughter to death in their shared home, which they lived in with the victim's grandfather. She further claimed that after the killing, she attempted to take her own life but was unsuccessful. The affidavit states that Oninski called authorities only after realizing she was not going to die from her self-inflicted injuries.
During the call, when the dispatcher asked if her daughter needed an ambulance, Oninski allegedly responded with chilling bluntness: "She's dead honey, she needs a hearse." Authorities later found the victim in a pool of her own blood on a four-season porch that was being used as a bedroom, with a black pocket knife discovered near her body.
Bizarre Motive Involving Elon Musk
In her confession, Oninski said she murdered her child to "protect her from somebody else," eventually specifying that this "somebody else" was Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. The affidavit notes that she did not elaborate on her reasoning, leaving investigators puzzled about the connection. This unusual claim has added a layer of complexity to an already tragic case, raising questions about the mother's mental state and possible influences.
Aftermath and Legal Charges
Upon being taken to the hospital for treatment, Oninski reportedly "enthusiastically" asked police if her name was "all over the news yet" and seemed disappointed when she learned it was not. Toxicology reports allegedly found traces of benzodiazepines, amphetamines, and THC in her bloodstream, which could be relevant to her behavior and statements.
Oninski has been arrested and charged with first-degree intentional homicide, a serious offense that reflects the premeditated nature of the crime as alleged by authorities. The case is now proceeding through the legal system, with further investigations likely to explore the full context of the events and Oninski's mental health.
