Nigerian singer Nasboi has once again spoken out against the country's escalating insecurity, calling on citizens to set aside tribal, religious, and political differences and raise their voices. In a detailed video message, the artist emphasized that this is not the time for tribalism or waiting for celebrities to take the lead before the public reacts. He stressed that insecurity affects everyone, regardless of tribe or religion.
Nasboi's Call for Unity
Nasboi pointed out that bandits are killing indiscriminately, and the government has failed in its duty to protect Nigerians. He questioned the broader security strategy across affected states and warned that if the situation worsens, even the wealthy will not be spared. The singer urged Nigerians to unite, speak up, demand accountability, and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs). He also encouraged citizens to stop spreading hate and instead focus on finding solutions to the country's growing security crisis.
Government's Failure Highlighted
In his statement, Nasboi reiterated that the government has let the people down, leaving Nigerians traumatized. He called for collective action and a shift away from divisive tendencies to address the common threat posed by insecurity.
