The Oyo State Police Command has neutralised three suspected kidnappers and rescued an abducted victim during a joint security operation in Otu, located in the Oke-Ogun area of Oyo State. The operation also led to the rescue of an abducted victim identified as Mosudi Gbolagade, aged about 50, who was reportedly kidnapped earlier at Okaka and held captive within the Otu area.

Police said the victim sustained gunshot injuries during the incident and had been taken for urgent medical treatment. Items recovered from the scene included an AK-47 rifle without ammunition, a single-barreled gun and a machete.
