A teacher has been accused of sexually abusing four sisters at a school in Kano State. The disturbing incident reportedly occurred in Inusawa, Ungogo Local Government Area of the state.
Lawyer Barr Badamasi Suleiman confirmed the incident in a Facebook post on Monday, May 18, 2026. He identified the siblings as Hasana, Hussaina, and Gambo, aged 7, and their 5-year-old sister. The alleged abuser, known only as “Uncle Kamal,” was a teacher at Al-Hadeed Private School.
According to the lawyer, the children's mother discovered the abuse after noticing that one of the minors could not control her bowels. Upon inquiry, all the children confirmed that Uncle Kamal was abusing them. Doctors later confirmed that all four children had been abused.
After a thorough investigation and gathering of solid evidence, the teacher was arraigned before Senior Magistrate Court No. 27, No-Man’s-Land, Kano. The court remanded him in a correctional facility and adjourned the case to June 9, 2026.
