A man has gone viral on social media after damaging parts of an apartment he rented in Port Harcourt following a dispute with his landlord over a rent increase.

According to posts shared online, the tenant had reportedly spent his own money installing POP ceilings and other fittings to improve the apartment while living there. However, he claimed the landlord later increased the rent by almost double the previous amount, a development that left him frustrated.
