A 20-year-old woman, Safiya Hussaini, has been remanded in a correctional facility by a Chief Magistrates’ Court in Kano over the alleged murder of her co-wife. The incident occurred in Loko town, Takai Local Government Area of Kano State.

According to the first information report (FIR), the defendant allegedly engaged in a dispute with her co-wife and attacked her with a cutlass, inflicting fatal injuries that resulted in her death.
