Later that same day, at approximately 2235 hours, Mercy received a distressing photograph of her sister showing visible bruises all over her body. Accompanying the image was a message alleging that Desire Deseye had assaulted Livina, inflicted injuries on her, seized her phone, and locked her inside his room, preventing her from leaving.
