The suspected ordnance-related event took place at the Offa Yidi Praying Ground on December 25, 2025. Reports indicate that explosions rocked parts of the town late on Thursday night, leading to property damage and widespread fear. Eyewitnesses stated that the incidents happened around midnight at two separate locations.
One explosion affected several buildings in the vicinity of the Eid prayer ground. A second blast was recorded near the Solid Worth Hotel, which is approximately a five-minute walk from the initial site. The simultaneous events created palpable tension throughout the community.
