Free E-Visas for AFCON 2025 Fans in Morocco Announced by CAF
CAF announces free e-visas for AFCON 2025 fans

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has made a major announcement that will delight football fans across the continent. In a significant move to boost attendance, CAF and the AFCON 2025 Local Organising Committee in Morocco have declared that supporters travelling for the tournament will receive free electronic visas.

Streamlined Access for International Supporters

This exciting development was confirmed in an official statement released on the CAF website. The policy is specifically designed to benefit citizens from countries that typically require a visa to enter Morocco. The free e-visas will be processed through the dedicated YALLA application, making the entire procedure digital and convenient.

The football governing body highlighted that this initiative responds to the surging global interest in Africa's premier football event. With a remarkable 298,000 tickets already sold in the first two sales phases to buyers from 33 African nations and 106 countries worldwide, the demand is undeniable.

How to Secure Your Fan ID and E-Visa

CAF has integrated the travel and access process to ensure a smooth experience for every fan. A mandatory Fan Identification is required for entry into all stadiums and official fan zones during the competition.

The process is straightforward. Supporters need to download the YALLA app from Google Play or the App Store, or visit its official website. Inside the app, fans can complete the Fan ID form and, if they need one, the e-visa request simultaneously. The entire application is completed seamlessly in one place, creating a faster, easier, and more secure process for both international and local fans.

Once a supporter's Fan ID is approved, they become eligible to purchase match tickets directly through the official CAF ticketing platform.

A Commitment to a World-Class Tournament

These new measures are part of a broader strategy to deliver a seamless and secure fan experience for what promises to be a spectacular event. The tournament will be held from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026, and will unfold across nine stadiums located in six different Moroccan cities.

CAF, with the full support of the Local Organising Committee, has reaffirmed its commitment to providing a world-class spectator experience. This move to simplify travel logistics underscores their dedication to making the 2025 edition of the African Cup of Nations the greatest football celebration on the continent.
