Nigerian music superstar Davido is set to headline the 2026 World Cup countdown show in Los Angeles on June 10. The event, which will take place at the Crypto.com Arena, will also feature Diplo’s Major Lazer as part of a groundbreaking live multi-city concert series linking Canada, Mexico, and the United States in collaboration with the Grammys.
World Cup Countdown Concert Series
The 2026 World Cup main organizing committee announced that additional artists for the United States Countdown Concert will be revealed at a later date. Tickets for the Los Angeles show went on sale yesterday. This concert is part of a first-of-its-kind live synchronized music experience spanning the three host nations, connecting audiences through football, music, and culture ahead of the opening game of the World Cup.
Organizers confirmed that Davido and Diplo’s Major Lazer are the first artists announced for what promises to be an unforgettable night of music, football, and culture. Live performances will also be broadcast from Mexico City and Toronto, featuring previously announced artists such as Bryan Adams, Nora Fatehi, Sanjoy, Vegedream, AHI, Wyclef Jean, Los Angeles Azules, Belinda, and Elena Rose.

In partnership with the Grammys, additional Countdown Concerts featuring internationally acclaimed artists from the official FIFA World Cup 2026 album, along with other global performers and special guests, are also taking place in Canada and Mexico.

The FIFA World Cup 2026 Countdown Concert will be broadcast live, with fans worldwide able to tune in through FIFA’s global broadcast and digital channels. This includes a global livestream via the FIFA World Cup TikTok account, with TikTok as the exclusive social media livestream partner. The full concert, along with exclusive behind-the-scenes content, will be available the following day on FIFA’s video-on-demand platform, VuMe Live.
