Slavko Vincic to lead officiating team
FIFA has confirmed that Slovenian referee Slavko Vincic will take charge of the 2026 World Cup final between Spain and Argentina. The announcement was made via FIFA's official X account on Friday, ahead of Sunday's final at the 80,663-capacity New York New Jersey Stadium in the United States.

Vincic will be supported by fellow Slovenians Tomaz Klancnik and Andraz Kovacic as assistant referees. Jordan's Adham Makhadmeh has been appointed as the fourth official, while Mohammad Alkalaf will serve as reserve assistant referee. This will be Vincic's second World Cup appearance, and the final marks his fourth match of the tournament, having officiated two group-stage fixtures and one knockout round match.

The final is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. local time (EDT) on Sunday at the New York New Jersey Stadium. It will be the 104th and final fixture of the expanded 48-team FIFA World Cup, which has been jointly hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
