Dangote Fertiliser Limited has achieved a significant milestone in Nigeria's agricultural sector by winning the prestigious Agricultural Input award at the 17th National Agricultural Show held in Keffi, Nasarawa State.

The National Agricultural Foundation of Nigeria honored Dangote Fertiliser during the event that took place on December 1, 2025. Kabiru Ibrahim, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the foundation, emphasized that Dangote Group has become a major contributor to the development of agricultural input across Nigeria.
Ibrahim highlighted the company's successful transition from petroleum to agriculture, stating that this strategic shift positions Dangote Group perfectly to drive investments that will enhance national food security. He particularly noted the relevance of this year's theme: "Empowering Smallholder Farmers: Restoring Value, Ensuring Productivity" to Nigeria's quest for food self-sufficiency.

Aishatu Rufai, the Acting National Coordinator of the National Agricultural Foundation of Nigeria, praised Dangote Fertiliser's substantial commitment to the agricultural sector. She specifically mentioned the company's three million metric tonnes per year urea plant as a transformative development that has revolutionized fertilizer production and availability in Nigeria.
Rufai emphasized that Dangote Group's support has been crucial to the continued success of the National Agricultural Show, noting that the organization might have struggled to maintain the event's efficiency without the company's backing.

In response to the recognition, Mrs. Fatima Wali-Abdurrahman, Senior Adviser to the President of Dangote Group, expressed the company's appreciation for the award.
