FITC Conference Highlights Urgent Need for Climate Leadership
The FITC Sustainability and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Conference 2026 has called for bold leadership, decisive climate action, and stronger institutions to build a sustainable Africa. The event, which brought together policymakers, business leaders, and sustainability experts, emphasized that the continent must accelerate its transition to a green economy while addressing systemic challenges.

During the conference, speakers stressed that African nations cannot afford to wait for global trends to dictate their climate agenda.
