Gabon eVisa Fees: Single and Multiple Entry Costs Announced

The Gabonese government has officially published the fee structure for its eVisa programme, detailing costs for both single-entry and multiple-entry categories, along with corresponding stay durations. The announcement includes a strict warning that travellers must not arrive before the scheduled date of entry specified on their approved visa.

Gabon eVisa Fees for Single and Multiple Entry

For a single-entry eVisa, the visa fee is set at 70 EUR (approximately N110,425), with an additional processing fee of 15 EUR (about N23,662). This option permits a stay of between one and three months in Gabon. The multiple-entry eVisa carries a higher visa fee of 185 EUR (around N291,837), with the same processing fee of 15 EUR. Holders of the multiple-entry visa can stay for three to seven months, and the application process takes roughly three days to complete.

Warning Against Early Arrival and Violations

The Gabonese government issued a pointed warning to applicants: travel to Gabon must not begin before the scheduled arrival date stated on the approved eVisa. Travellers who arrive early or breach other immigration conditions tied to the eVisa risk being deported back to their home country.

Cost Implications for Travellers

The release of these figures gives travellers from across Africa and beyond a clearer picture of the documentation and upfront costs required for a trip to Gabon. With the naira equivalent of the single-entry fee exceeding N110,000 and the multiple-entry option approaching N292,000 before processing charges, the visa costs represent a notable outlay, particularly for those already facing international travel expenses.
