The following African countries are included in the first group: Mauritius, Seychelles, and South Africa. The second group includes Algeria, Egypt, Mauritania, Morocco, and Tunisia. Travellers from these eight nations may enter Oman without a visa for a maximum stay of 14 days, provided they meet all entry conditions.

Beyond Africa, the visa-free arrangement covers a wide range of countries across Europe, Asia, the Americas, and Oceania. Notable nations in the first group include the United Kingdom, the United States, China, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Russia, South Korea, and most European Union member states. The second group includes India, Mexico, Vietnam, Jordan, Cuba, and several Central American and Central Asian nations.
