Sujimoto Group, Nigeria's foremost luxury real estate and construction company, has announced a strategic partnership with Cotco Food Machinery OEM, a leading Chinese manufacturer, to develop a cutting-edge food processing system. This collaboration marks the company's expansion into the agro-industrial sector through the launch of Sujimoto Foods, a venture designed to bolster Nigeria's food security.
Addressing Nigeria's Food Consumption Challenge
Sujimoto Foods was established to cater to Nigeria's vast population of over 240 million people, who collectively consume approximately 330 million tonnes of food annually. The company aims to build a state-of-the-art food manufacturing network capable of processing 1,000,000 tonnes within its food value chain per year. This initiative is strategically designed to deliver high-quality food production to millions of households, improve the food supply chain, and enhance national food security.
Commitment to Quality and Excellence
The Group Managing Director of Sujimoto Group, Dr. Sijibomi Ogundele, emphasized the company's dedication to quality. "Just as we have distinguished ourselves in the real estate sector through an unwavering commitment to quality and excellence, we intend to apply the same principles in food manufacturing," he stated. "Sujimoto Foods is embarking on the establishment of a state-of-the-art food manufacturing operation, including about 1,000,000 ton food value chain annually. Our goal is simple; to deliver high-quality food production to millions of Nigerians while contributing meaningfully to national food security, industrial growth, and economic development."
Dr. Ogundele further noted that the same dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail that have driven Sujimoto's success in real estate will position the company as a major force in Nigeria's food industry.
Real Estate Remains a Core Pillar
Despite this grand-scale industrial transformation, Sujimoto Group's executive leadership affirmed that premium real estate remains a fundamental pillar of the company's corporate identity and structural growth strategy. The announcement follows the successful completion of Lucrezia by Sujimoto, widely regarded as Nigeria's top luxury building. Building on this success, the company is progressing with its next major project, LeonardBySujimoto, a 60-storey building designed to elevate luxury living and architectural excellence across Africa. This landmark development symbolizes innovation, excellence, and world-class development.
Gratitude to Clients and Partners
Sujimoto Group expressed deep appreciation to its clients and partners, emphasizing that their continued support and confidence are the primary fuel accelerating the company's visionary expansion in both real estate and food manufacturing.
