Lafarge Africa Celebrates Top Trade Partners at 2025 Customer & Transporter Awards
Lafarge Africa Plc, a leading manufacturer of innovative and sustainable building solutions, hosted a grand ceremony to honor its exceptional trade partners at the 2025 Customer & Transporter Awards. The event took place on Saturday, February 21, at the prestigious Landmark Event Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos, bringing together customers, transporters, and key stakeholders to celebrate mutual success and reinforce strategic partnerships.

The colorful ceremony attracted distinguished guests including the Honourable Commissioner for Housing in Lagos State, Hon Moruf Akinderu Fatai, and the Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs from Cross Rivers State. Also in attendance were members of the Lafarge Africa Plc Board – Mrs. Adenike Ogunlesi, Mrs. Olusola Oworu, and Mrs. Elenda Osima-Dokubo – alongside the company's management and staff. National Champions and Prize Winners
Elder Ubong Bassey Obot of Ubotex Nigeria Limited emerged as the National Volume Champion, receiving a brand new 2026 Toyota Land Cruiser as his prize. The first runner-up position went to Igwe Cosmas Ezeumeh Chizoba of C.C. Umeh and Sons Limited, who was awarded a 2026 Toyota Prado, while Chief Etim Effiong Okon of Batoframoje Enterprises secured second runner-up status with a 2026 Toyota Fortuner.
In the transporter category, B.I.G MultiQuest Nigeria Limited was recognized as the National Winner-Best Transporter and received a 2026 Toyota Hilux. Additionally, two customers who distinguished themselves as National Growth Champions were rewarded with 15KVA Generating Sets, and four regional champions each received Toyota RAV 4 vehicles.

During his address, the Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Lafarge Africa Plc, Lolu Alade-Akinyemi, emphasized the company's commitment to honoring partnership.
