Zeeoma, an African curated concept store based in St. Louis, Missouri, has officially launched The Open Door Lagos Edition. This structured public open call invites Africa's most compelling creative brands to apply for mentoring and a chance to access up to N5 million in seed capital.

Founded by Isioma and Chizoba Ezepue, Zeeoma aims to curate the best of African design, fashion, lifestyle products, art, books, and accessories, bringing African creativity to American consumers. The Open Door Lagos Edition is not a competition for recognition but a commercial opportunity with tangible benefits.

Applications are open for startups in Fashion & Apparel, Accessories & Jewellery, Art & Home, and Beauty & Wellness. The program values craft, storytelling, and cultural relevance.
Eligibility and Evaluation Criteria
Independent fashion designers, accessory and jewelry brands, textile artisans, art and home decor makers, and beauty and wellness founders across Nigeria are welcome. Both early-stage creators with strong brand stories and established brands looking to scale commercially can apply. Brands will be evaluated based on craft excellence, brand storytelling, cultural relevance, and commercial readiness.
