37 Ships with Petroleum, Food Expected at Lagos Ports

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced that 37 ships carrying petroleum products, food items, and other goods are expected at Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea Port, and Tincan Island port in Lagos on Tuesday.

Details of Expected Vessels

The NPA disclosed this in its Daily Shipping Position, noting that the vessels are expected from June 16 to June 23. Of the expected ships, 13 are carrying containers of various goods, while 24 ships contain frozen fish, bulk urea, petrol, condensate, bulk sugar, general cargo, aviation fuel, bulk wheat, diesel, and crude oil.

Arrivals and Current Operations

The agency noted that eight ships and tankers have arrived at the three ports, awaiting berthing with containers, general cargo, gasoline, aviation fuel, petrol, bulk fertiliser, diesel, and crude oil.

Additionally, 19 ships are currently discharging bulk urea, containers, petrol, frozen fish, bulk gypsum, bulk sugar, bulk wheat, rug boat, and bulk gas at the Lekki Deep Sea Port, Apapa, and Tincan Island Port.
