The Port Manager of Lagos Port Complex, Adebowale Lawal, praised the terminal operator for its comprehensive safety protocols in port operations. He encouraged continuous improvement to further strengthen these standards, ensuring that safety remains a top priority in all activities.

AMATO Chairman Lauds Safety Awareness

Remi Ogungbemi, Chairman of the Association of Maritime Truck Owners (AMATO), lauded the terminal's positive impact on port operations. He noted that APM Terminals' presence in Apapa has significantly enhanced safety awareness and helped curb the 'motor-boy syndrome', thereby reducing fatal incidents along the port corridor.

Deputy Commander of Narcotics at the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Sani Nahuche, also commended APM Terminals and the NPA for maintaining a drug-free operational environment. He stressed the importance of strict compliance and sustained vigilance to preserve this status.
