The online registration portal will open on Monday, May 18, 2026, at 12:00 a.m. and close on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. The registration fee is fixed at ₦2,000. Candidates are required to complete the registration process through the university’s official website at iaue.edu.ng.

Once on the IAUE Official Website, candidates should access the “Undergraduate Studies” section under the admission menu and proceed to the “2026/2027 UTME/DE Screening Registration Portal” to begin the application.

Registration Procedure

First-choice candidates are expected to confirm their details using their JAMB registration numbers, provide valid phone numbers and email addresses, and complete payment through the Paystack platform before updating their personal data and printing their registration slips. Candidates who changed their institution to IAUE are also expected to complete a separate registration form through the portal before proceeding with payment and profile updates.

The university emphasised that candidates using awaiting results during JAMB registration must upload their O'level results both on the JAMB portal and the university portal.

Screening Exercise

IAUE disclosed that the 2026/2027 screening exercise would be conducted in a hybrid format, including O'level and A'level certificate verification, data screening, ranking, and compulsory biometric validation at the university’s main campus in Rumuolumeni, Rivers State. Details regarding screening dates and venues will be announced later.

Important Warnings

The institution warned candidates and parents against paying money for admission slots, stressing that admission into the university remains free. “Any candidate who is asked to pay money for admission slot should immediately report the incident to the appropriate authorities,” the institution stated. The university also prohibited parents, guardians, and unauthorised individuals from entering screening centres during the exercise and urged candidates to disregard misleading information circulating on social media.
