The Nigerian Defence Academy has officially launched the admission process for its 78th Regular Course, marking a significant opportunity for aspiring military officers across Nigeria.
Application Timeline and Procedure
The online application portal will become active on Friday, November 28, 2025, giving prospective candidates ample time to complete their registration before the deadline on April 30, 2026. The Academy Registrar confirmed these dates in an official statement released to the public.
Both male and female Nigerian citizens who meet the eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply through the dedicated application website at www.ndaapplications.net. The registration process requires candidates to first purchase an access code before proceeding with their application.
Payment Process and Important Instructions
Applicants must follow a specific payment procedure through the REMITA platform. The application fee is set at N7,000, and candidates need to generate an Order ID and REMITA Retrieval Reference (RRR) Code through the application portal before making payment.
The NDA emphasized that only payments made against RRR Codes generated via the official application portal will be accepted. The academy strongly advises all applicants to carefully read all instructions before submitting their applications to avoid any processing issues.
Warning Against Fake Admission Lists
Major Mohammed Maidawa, the NDA's Public Relations Officer, has reiterated the academy's previous warnings about circulating fake admission lists. The public should disregard any unauthorized list claiming to show successful candidates for the 2025 Armed Forces Selection Board.
In August, the academy had already alerted the public about fraudulent lists being circulated. Major Maidawa clarified that the authentic list of successful candidates will only be published in reputable national newspapers and on the official NDA website at https://nda.edu.ng/ when the selection process is complete.
Prospective applicants are reminded that only applications submitted through the official portal following the prescribed procedures will be considered for admission to the prestigious military institution.
