Trinity College Celebrates 30 Years of Excellence

Trinity International College in Ofada, Ogun State, has celebrated a significant milestone, marking three decades of providing quality education and shaping future leaders.

Commissioner Charges Students Towards Excellence

The Ogun State Commissioner for Education, Science, and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, delivered a powerful charge to the students during the 30th-anniversary celebrations. Represented by the Director of Education, Quality Assurance and Teacher Development, Mary Aminat, the commissioner described the college as a beacon of hope.

He urged the students to strive for excellence and embrace values that would help them become model citizens. Prof. Arigbabu highlighted that the school's achievements are not just numbers but proof that education, when combined with strong values, creates a lasting impact.

He emphasized that every classroom serves as a gateway to a brighter future. The commissioner noted that when students learn critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration alongside core subjects, they become powerful agents of change within their families and communities.

Building a Legacy That Endures

The Guest Speaker at the event, Olusegun Osunsan, echoed the call for excellence. He advised students to nurture a spirit of high achievement to do great exploits and uplift the school's name further.

Osunsan commended the college for building an enviable legacy that has stood strong for 30 years. He stated that this enduring success should serve as an inspiration for other institutions aiming to create their own lasting impact. The cleric also highlighted the positive testimonies from parents and alumni about the school's profound influence.

Samuel Olatunji, Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Trinity Group, revealed the secret behind the institution's success. He attributed it to putting God at the center of all their endeavors, combined with sheer determination, which has led to success on many fronts.

Honouring Dedication and Looking Forward

Adebowale Tade, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Trinity University, Lagos, acknowledged the immense contributions of everyone who has supported the college's growth over the years. He encouraged current students to emulate these contributors and relentlessly pursue excellence.

Tade also urged Nigerian parents to train their children to be God-fearing and valuable members of society. In a fitting tribute to its committed staff, the college presented awards to outstanding employees in recognition of their dedication and pivotal role in the institution's growth and development.
