Sportsville Awards 2026: A Night of Glamour and Recognition in Lagos

The stage is set for an evening of elegance and celebration as the 6th edition of the Sportsville Special Recognition Awards unfolds in Lagos. Scheduled for Friday at 6pm at the prestigious Lagos Country Club, this event promises to gather the elite of Nigerian sports for a memorable night of honors and camaraderie.

Distinguished Guests and Honorees

Leading the occasion as Chairman is Dr. Larry Izamoje, the esteemed founder of Brila Media Group, whose presence underscores the significance of this gathering. Among the notable attendees already in Lagos are former Sports Minister, Hon. Sunday Dare, now serving as Special Adviser to the President, along with other distinguished personalities such as Dr. Danladi Bako (OON), Dr. Amos Adamu, and Chief Segun Odegbami (MON).

The guest list extends to include Dr. Godwin Ehigiamusoe, Managing Director of LAPO, and Hon. Bukola Olopade, Director General of the National Sports Commission, who is leading a delegation of NSC officials. Alhaji Ibrahim Gusau, President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), is also expected to grace the event, highlighting its importance in the sports community.
