Fashion designer Ejiro, founder of StyledbyEjiro, who went missing in 2025, has resurfaced and shared her harrowing experience at Pastor Jerry Eze's Streams of Joy International Church during the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD). In a video circulating online, Ejiro alleged that a popular prophetess hypnotised her and defrauded her of properties worth over N11 million.
Disappearance and Social Media Outcry
Ejiro's disappearance sparked widespread concern last year, with the hashtag #WhereIsEjiro trending on social media. Her siblings appealed online for help, leading to a wave of prayers and searches. Many Nigerians followed the story closely, hoping for her safe return.
Testimony at NSPPD
During her testimony, Ejiro recounted how she was in Paris when she received a prophetic message from a prophetess who mentioned her by name, her three sisters, and family challenges. The prophetess allegedly instructed her to sell all her properties, worth over N11 million, and hand over the proceeds. Ejiro claimed she was told to travel to Lagos, where the prophetess collected the remaining belongings she had with her.
According to Ejiro, the prophetess told her that her mother was a witch and that she must let go of everything she owned. She was warned not to tell her family or anyone else about the instructions. Whenever she attempted to leave, she was told she was close to her breakthrough, which kept her under the prophetess's influence.
Regaining Freedom and Starting Anew
Ejiro said she eventually regained her senses, began attending Pastor Jerry Eze's church, and restarted her fashion design business. Her testimony has brought relief to many who followed her story.
