American rapper Ms Jorji has fired back at Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) after he publicly challenged her to produce evidence supporting her assault allegations against dancer Poco Lee. In a video response, Ms Jorji made clear that her original message was directed solely at Poco Lee, shifting the burden of response squarely onto the dancer.
VDM Demands Proof Before Taking Sides
VeryDarkMan had earlier questioned the credibility of Ms Jorji's account, insisting that the accusation alone was not sufficient to draw conclusions. "I'm not saying that he cannot do it. I am saying that I want proof, not 'they say, they say.' Bring proof. Let's see the evidence," VDM said, according to reports from Legit.ng.
This came after Ms Jorji claimed that Poco Lee had assaulted her two years ago. The allegations followed reports that Poco Lee was arrested in the United Kingdom.
Ms Jorji Clarifies Her Intentions
In her video response, Ms Jorji explained that her original statement was never meant for VDM or the general public to arbitrate. "I saw VeryDarkMan's video about me. When I made the video, the only person I was addressing was Poco Lee. If Poco Lee feels that I lied, he can come online and debunk it," she said.
Ms Jorji's response effectively dares Poco Lee to publicly address the allegations, rather than allowing third parties like VDM to mediate the dispute.
Poco Lee Remains Silent Amid Growing Controversy
As of the time of this report, Poco Lee had not addressed Ms Jorji's allegations or VDM's call for evidence on any public platform. The silence from the dancer leaves the controversy unresolved, with both Ms Jorji and VDM awaiting a response.
In a separate development, Legit.ng reported that Fake Pocolee, a content creator and hypeman, shared on Egungun's show Tell-the-price that Davido had commented on his post to hail him. Fake Pocolee also performed his trademark spin dance and sent a special message to his principal for supporting him.
