Sowore Accuses Ned Nwoko of Underage Marriage with Regina Daniels
Sowore: Ned Nwoko Married Underage Regina Daniels

Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has dropped explosive new allegations against Senator Ned Nwoko concerning his marriage to actress Regina Daniels. The politician and activist claims to possess concrete evidence proving the senator married Daniels when she was still a minor.

Fresh Evidence Emerges in Marriage Controversy

In a detailed social media post on Wednesday, November 12, Sowore presented what he describes as compelling proof that Senator Nwoko engaged in unethical conduct before marrying the now-estranged actress. This development comes despite Nwoko's previous denials of marrying Regina as a minor.

The activist revealed that official records indicate Regina Daniels was born in October 2001, while her marriage to the senator occurred in May 2019. This timeline would make her approximately 17 years old at the time of the union, below Nigeria's legal marriage age.

International Travel and Document Manipulation

Sowore further alleged that the couple embarked on several international trips during the early stages of their relationship. According to his claims, they visited countries including Jordan, United Arab Emirates, and Egypt while Regina was still underage.

The activist stated he possesses Regina's passport, which he says proves she was a minor during these travels. More seriously, Sowore accused Senator Nwoko of systematically manipulating official documents to conceal her true age.

Among the allegations are claims that Nwoko changed the actress's name from Regina Nneamaka Favour Ojeogwu to Regina Daniels to hide her original records. Sowore also alleged the senator obtained a fake INEC voter card for the actress to manipulate her legal identity.

Calls for Investigation and Public Reaction

The human rights activist has called for immediate investigation into what he describes as a serious breach of both moral and statutory laws. He emphasized that no amount of wealth or political connection should protect anyone from facing justice.

Social media reactions to Sowore's revelations have been mixed. User @OshioksPhilip commented: "Omoyele Sowore don hold Ned for blokos o... Ned don buy market." Meanwhile, @Nonstech Gadgect questioned whether Regina's parents approved the relationship, suggesting they might share responsibility if they consented.

Another user, @Johnson Ikeji, demanded more concrete evidence: "Kindly show us where embassy stamped the passport, we want to see the date to know if she's a minor."

This controversy emerges amid ongoing media scrutiny of Regina Daniels's marriage to Ned Nwoko, including recent allegations of domestic violence. In a related development, Regina has hinted she might consider marrying again in another life, responding to a fan's question about whether she would marry an older man again.
