Woman shares silly pre-marriage moments with husband, refuses to call him 'my lord'

Peace Ajuma Abuh, a wife and mother, has shared a series of silly and intimate moments she and her husband experienced before they got married, explaining why she cannot bring herself to call him 'my lord' or 'my king.' In a candid social media post, she recounted a particularly memorable incident that took place while they were spending time in his village.

Bush toilet incident leaves lasting impression

According to Abuh, during their stay in the village, the couple would go to the bush every morning to defecate, as that was the common practice there. On one specific morning, her then-boyfriend suffered from a stomach upset that caused him to defecate in his boxers before he could reach the designated squatting spot.

Abuh narrated that after finishing, he removed his boxers, used them to clean himself, and threw them into the bush before walking home naked. She noted that the darkness of the early morning saved him from being seen. The situation did not end there, as he continued using the same boxers to clean himself each time he defecated in the following days, until there was no clean space left on the garment.

Partner, not lord

Sharing a photo of herself with the man who is now her husband, Abuh wrote: 'Me and this man has done a lot of silly things together and still doing it cef. Reason why I laugh whenever some people advise me to call him my king or my lord. No be only my lord.' She emphasized that she sees him as a partner, which is why they call each other 'BABE.'

Abuh also mentioned that she plans to narrate the incident to their children when they grow up. She added that whenever she reminds him of the event, he laughs and calls her a 'mad woman.' The story was originally shared by Linda Ikeji on 19 August 2026.
